At the southern tip of South Carolina?s coastline, tourists will find the island of Hilton Head. The island attracts more than 2 million visitors annually. It is also home to a unique population from millionaires in extraordinary mansions to average working class people involved in the cyclic tourist trade.
What sets Hilton Head apart from the rest of the Carolina?s, and a number would say the entire Atlantic coast, is the spectacular natural environment. The marshes, hiking trails, and beaches are groomed and perfectly suited to families in search of an outdoor adventure. Second only to strolling on the white sand beaches of the subtropical barrier island, is the pursuit of fishing. Many guests come from around the countryside to stay in a beach rental and participate in the fishing accessible to guests at Hilton Head.
